It is increasingly important for every kind of business to have a presence on the Internet. Whether you're self employed, working from home, just starting out with a new business venture or a long established firm without a web presence, we can help you to make those first steps to creating your own corner of the world wide web. Perhaps you already have a site but would like to give it a 'makeover' or add a few extra pages - we'd be glad to help.

And getting onto the web is not as difficult or as expensive as you might think. We can design a single page site for you, including banners, buttons and logo for as little as £70. A four or five page site, which would allow you to give more information about your business, would be £175 or £210. Obviously, if you need a larger site, or if you want to add to your site over time, we will be very happy to meet your requirements.

We can also purchase a domain name on your behalf and provide Email and Web Hosting Services

Domain names ending in '.co.uk' are only £10 for two years registration. Names ending in '.com' are £30 for two years registration.

How we Work

Website Design

We will usually design two or three drafts for you to review. We upload these designs to our 'draft' area for you to view over the internet. Based on your feedback we will then develop the ideas you like and create one or two more drafts to show you.

Once you have decided on your design, a non-refundable deposit becomes payable. We can only progress projects if the client responds to emails or telephone call enquiries. Should a period of four weeks pass without contact from the client their project will be placed at the bottom of the work schedule. If after six weeks the client has still not responded the project will be terminated and the deposit will not be refunded.

We then complete the building of the site.

Once the site is complete, we can if you wish, arrange the hosting of the site on our own webhosting facility. See our Hosting page for more details.

Please note, all of our websites are designed and built by us from scratch, i.e. unlike some other webdesign services we do not use templates and we do not outsource any of our work to other parties.

Terms and Conditions

Once a website design is agreed upon, a deposit of 20% of the estimated total or £100, whichever is the greater, will become payable. This is non-refundable, but will be deducted from the final website charge.

All designs remain the property of dwdwebdesign until paid for in full.

The website will be completed in the agreed overall design; should your further requirements differ greatly from the agreed design, we may levy an additional re-design charge.

The final balance of the website design charge will become due on completion.

Additional work after completion will be charged at our website maintenance rate
